Cycling is a brilliant, low-impact way to strengthen your arms and legs
Exercise and fresh air can often make the world of difference to your mental well-being, why not give it a go?
Cycling is an effective therapeutic tool for improving walking post-stroke or brain injury for a number of reasons: it allows for continuous, repetitive motion involving symmetric, coordinated flexion and extension of the joints with agonist/antagonist muscle activation through a greater range of motion than that in walking.
Wednesday 12.30pm to 1.30pm
£4 per rider, carers ride for free.
Trikes are available next to the basketball courts in Hillsborough Park.
Free transport is available for your first session: call for eligibility.
