Sheffield Cycling 4 All’s 2025 impact report

Our 2025 Impact Report: Thank you for making it possible

First and foremost, a huge thank you to our cyclists, volunteers, partners and everyone who has supported our work. Your energy, commitment and belief in inclusive cycling is what makes Sheffield Cycling 4 All what it is.

In 2025, together we supported over 1,500 people to cycle, including 900 cyclists and 600 carers, and welcomed more than 400 new cyclists into our community. Demand for inclusive cycling continues to grow – and so does our ambition to meet it.

This has been a year of big milestones. We launched South Yorkshire’s first inclusive off-road cycling hub at Parkwood Springs, expanded our offer to include multiple types of cycling, and for the first time ever ran sessions seven days a week

But the real impact is in what cycling makes possible.

  • 100% of our cyclists said cycling improved their mental wellbeing
  • 97% reported improvements in physical health
  • 82% said it increased their independence

For many people, cycling is transformative:

“Cycling is my therapy – my escape… it’s a release for me, a reset somehow.”

We’ve also continued to break down barriers beyond our sessions – supporting people to access cycles through our loan scheme, working with partners to improve accessibility, and ensuring Disabled cyclists have a voice in shaping local infrastructure and policy.

At its heart, SC4A is about more than cycling. It’s about possibility, independence and connection – and creating a space where Disabled People can choose if, when and how they ride.

Thank you for being part of that journey.
