Active Travel England (ATE) is inviting input on t Active Travel England (ATE) is inviting input on the critical safety issues affecting walking, wheeling and cycling.
ATE is funding a research project to better understand the street layouts and conditions that increase the risk of collisions for people walking, wheeling or cycling. As part of this project, the University of Leeds is asking people to complete a questionnaire exploring the relative importance of critical safety issues, and how they impact safety.
Your responses will help strengthen how safety is considered and measured - and will contribute to the evidence that informs our assessment tools.
The questionnaire takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and is intended for circulation to local advocacy and stakeholder groups representing the needs of people walking, wheeling and cycling. Please feel free to share it across your professional networks.

The survey will close at the end of May.
