We are an inclusive all-ability cycling project in Sheffield. We support adults who can’t ride a 2-wheel bike due to Disability or health condition.

This Thursday 7th May we will be running our eveni

This Thursday 7th May we will be running our evening cycling session, 5.30 - 7.30pm.

Then on Saturday 9th May the session will be 10.30am to 12.30pm.
This is a replacement session, as we weren’t able to run our usual first Saturday of the month due to there being a match on.

No need to book for either session, just turn up. If you would like to reserve a particular cycle, please email us before 4pm on Thursday.

Today's session at Hillsbrough Park! Great session back after the bank holiday, some new and old faces!
Dale came to thank Joe for his help with the Cycle Loan scheme, and has now been to purchase a Jorvik Frelsi of his own (which means freedom in Icelandic/Norse).

Our Cycle Loan scheme is getting busy as the sun comes out, but we still have 2 x Jorviks available immediately.

We also have the Etnic avalible soon!

This scheme is open to anyone living in South Yorkshire who is Disabled or has a Long-term health condition, It is Free and we can loan the cycles for up to 3 months.

Our apologies for the mistake - Saturday cycling is NOT on this week, 2 May. We are cancelling due to a clash with a Sheffield Wednesday football match.

We hope to run next Saturday instead staffing dependent, and will confirm next week 🤞🤞🤞

We had a cracking ride with Steve up at Parkwood S

We had a cracking ride with Steve up at Parkwood Springs yesterday! Exploring some new paths over on the tip side and doing some more technical bits too.

We offer guided trail cycling at Parkwood Springs every Tuesday for anyone who is disabled or has a long term health condition, for just £5! We have electric assist @azubrecumbents , and @maddilinehandbikes , including one with back pedal braking for people with tetraplegia.

You don’t need to bring anything — we provide all equipment, and our trained ride leaders and volunteers are always on hand to help.
There is a Disabled toilet on site.

Sheffield Cycling 4 All will be starting a monthly

Sheffield Cycling 4 All will be starting a monthly tandem ride on Thursday April 23rd. The rides will start in Hillsborough park at 5pm and head out to Oughtibridge for a drink, and then back.

We have 5 tandems and experienced volunteer pilots. We also have a volunteer dog minder.

The rides will be monthly Thursdays during the spring/summer.

This Saturday is the Big Ride - @cyclesheffield 's

This Saturday is the Big Ride - @cyclesheffield 's annual call for safe space for cycling.

Saturday 11th April at 10:30am - a slow, safe, short 5km circular route around the city centre from Devonshire Green.

This week they are doing marshall training and reccy rides. We've asked them to check the route for minimum 1.5m width, no A-frames/other barriers and drop kerbs when moving between road and pavement. Any other access questions you need answering in order to attend?

Siobhan has been coming cycling with us at Parkwoo

Siobhan has been coming cycling with us at Parkwood Springs for the last 6 months or so. She has also recently joined our steering group. Her input into SC4A has been invaluable. And now she’s also raising some funds for us, what a legend!

On 26th April, Siobhan will be cycling the 65km route of the @the_dirty_reiver through Kielder Forest on her @icetrikes trike. This will be by far the furthest ride she has ever done! She will be supported on the ride by the amazing @experiencecommunitycic

We have been doing lots of hills at Parkwood in training. We wish Siobhan all the very best with her ride and want to say a huge thank you for nominating us as one of her chosen projects to support.
