We are an inclusive all-ability cycling project in Sheffield. We support adults who can’t ride a 2-wheel bike due to Disability or health condition.

We are back with our monthly Saturday session this

We are back with our monthly Saturday session this week, 10.30am - 12.30pm.

The session will be based on the basketball courts in Hillsborough Park.

Community Halloween Cycle Ride: Grab your bike and join a frightfully fun family ride with Olympic champion and Active Lives Commissioner Ed Clancy OBE and the Bikeability Trust.

· Two-mile round ride for all

· Halloween fancy dress and costumed cycles

· Spooktacular treats and prizes

· You’ll be supported all the way by the Bikeability Trust team.

Just a reminder that the clocks went back yesterday!
As the days are now shorter and colder, we have introduced our winter schedule.
Open sessions Mon - Thurs now finish at 1.30.
Thursday evening sessions have finished for the summer.
We run bookable sessions on the first Saturday of the month, 10.30 - 12.30.
As ever we will have hot drinks available to keep you warm between rides. See you soon!

Hopefully we will be back to normal on Tuesday!

We had a great day in the park today. Our new volunteer, Hymn, had his first day today and did a great job, learning how to adjust the cycles and chatting with cyclists.

Also, Adam came cycling for the first time and had a lovely ride round the park on a side by side.

Researchers working at Sheffield Hallam University

Researchers working at Sheffield Hallam University and the Sheffield NHS Stroke Service are leading a project called Power Assisted Circuit Exercise for Stroke. They are looking to recruit participants willing to travel to the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (taxis and fuel costs are reimbursed) to take part in an 8-week exercise programme, delivered twice per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The project is suitable for people with moderate to severe motor impairments caused by stroke.
