Lots of fun cycling in Hillsborough park on a sunny winters day ☀️❄️ Don't be put off by the cold - we have gloves and hot drinks to keep you warm 🧤☕

Jack and Richard from Greave House Farm joined us for the first time and whizzed round the park. We were overjoyed to see Matilda and Helen back and as enthusiastic as ever! Catherine has made so much progress on the Berkel and is going further each time. Monique also came and tried out a few of the different trikes we had.

On Monday we had a visit from some 1st Year medica

On Monday we had a visit from some 1st Year medical students who wanted to see what our project was all about. We welcome visits from medical, OT and physio students, hopefully in the future when they qualify they will remember us and refer people to us!

On Tuesday, The University of Sheffield Cycling Cl

On Tuesday, The University of Sheffield Cycling Club rode all the way to Edinburgh, to try and beat the University’s society Bummit’s hitchhikers. They rode all through the night, taking on whatever conditions the British countryside chose to put them through!

And they chose to make Sheffield Cycling for All their nominated fundraising charity. If you scan the QR code it will take you to the fundraising page.

Josie says - 'Wow!! I can only say how pleased and amazed I was with all the help I got from Cycling 4 All. I was able to loan from them an electric assist ICE trike for a few months at no charge and that enabled me to see if it was going to be right for me. I had seen these trikes in 2023 and thought they might be. But it was only through borrowing one for a few months that I was able to try it out, see what difficulties I had, how much I used it and how I felt about it before buying one. I took the trike out several times a week, whenever the weather was vaguely nice and I really enjoyed it, I loved feeling so free, being able to exercise in beautiful countryside and I just felt so much better being outside. Some days I didn’t feel particularly keen but by the time I got home again I was feeling much happier and more energetic. Now, I’ve bought my own ICE trike using the knowledge I gained from borrowing one and it is fantastic and is helping me to regain some of the strength I had before my accident in a way I enjoy. It is just so amazing to find a way to get so much enjoyment and I can’t thank Cycling 4 All enough for all their help and their wonderful, wonderful loan scheme. And this is me on my new trike.'

This year, we welcomed 562 Disabled People to our sessions—over 50% ride weekly!

💚 An amazing 90% of participants say cycling with us has boosted their mental and physical wellbeing.

🌱 With new partnerships, we’re creating even more inclusive cycling spaces.

One cyclist, Sally, shared: "The sense of achievement has been startling. I didn’t realize how much I needed this!"

All our cycles are electric assist, you don't need to be able to balance, or walk far or be fit and strong.

We’re thrilled to announce that we have secured major funding from @tnlcommunityfund and the @motabilityfoundation Active Travel Grant Programme! 🎉

This funding secures our project for another 4 years and will help us expand our inclusive cycling sessions across South Yorkshire and grow our Cycle Loan scheme! 💚

To celebrate, we’re hosting a 16th Anniversary Event at Hillsborough Park on 17th October, and you’re invited!

🎉🎈Come join us for a day of fun, cycling activities, and great company. Try out our cycles, hear about our future plans, and celebrate with the Sheffield Cycling 4 All community.
