Where are you?
You can find us at Hillsborough Park car park on Parkside Road.
How do I get there?
Bus – Number 86 Bus from Arundel Gate in Sheffield Town Centre (get off at the bottom of the park on Penistone Road)
Tram – Yellow Line, stop is Hillsborough Park stop
Car – There is parking at the bottom of the park, the entrance to the carpark is off the bottom of Parkside Road.
Up to 1 hour – 70p,
up to 2 hours – £1.40,
up to 3 hours – £2.10 and
over 4 hours – £2.80.
When are you open?
We work Monday to Friday and run cycling Monday to Thursday and the last Saturday of the month. See our calendar for details of times and sessions.
Do I need to pay?
We charge £4 per cyclist. Your PA / support / carer can ride for free. This is subsidised by the National Lottery Community Fund grant.
Do I have to be disabled to cycle?
Our project is for anyone who is disabled or has a long-term health condition or balance issues that mean that they can’t ride a two-wheeled bike.

Is this for children or adults?
Just adults.
If you are looking for a children’s group there is Cycle Happy Club
Are there toilets in the park?
Yes, at the top of the park in the pavilion next to the bowling green, or at the Coach house cafe. Alternatively, there are toilets at the leisure centre over the road.
What is the maximum weight for the wheelchair trike?
140kg – this is the weight of your wheelchair PLUS you.
Who’s trained in first aid?
Whoever is leading the session will be trained in first aid.

What if I have a complaint?
If it is about a cyclist, please let the session lead know.
If it is about a volunteer, please let the session lead know.

lead, but if you don’t feel comfortable – you can contact the other
